How do I book a free initial phone consultation?
How much are therapy session fees?
During your initial (free) phone consultation, we will decide how best to proceed with treatment sessions.
Sessions are usually up to one hour. They can be arranged either in a package or on an individual basis. We can explore which is best for you in our initial call.
Full Introductory Session – this is usually 1 hour and 30 minutes - £90
Follow-up Sessions – 1 hour £90
Programmes (Including a full introductory session):
Programme of 4 sessions - £340 (£170 paid in advance of first session)
Programme of 6 sessions - £500 (£250 paid in advance of first session)
Stop Smoking - I use a specific programme for clients wishing to stop smoking, click here
I allow for up to an extra half an hour at the end of sessions as sometimes, we can be in the middle of something important for a client and it's preferable to allow some extra time in their best interests.
What is included in the fees?
The session will last for approximately 1 hour and the fees include the therapy that happens in that hour, plus any extra work I do for you, such as personalised hypnotic Wordweaving™ recordings I create for you to listen to outside of our sessions together.
What will happen in our first session together?
The first session will last around 1.5 hours. We will discuss the history behind your issue and develop a plan for us to use to help you get to your desired solution state.
When do you see clients?
I can see clients at a time that is mutually convenient for both of us (weekends are sometimes possible, but may be charged at a higher rate).
Where are sessions held?
I can see clients in a therapy room at my home on Canvey Island, at therapy rooms I hire in Wickford and Leigh-on-Sea, or online using Zoom.
Occasionally I may see clients in their own home if their needs make this necessary, although it has to be a suitable environment for treatment to be effective.
What is expected of a client?
We will work together in a partnership. Your engagement is essential to get you to your desired solution, as is your openness and honesty. You can expect the same from me.
I may give you tasks to complete between sessions, these won't be too onerous, but it is often said that most therapy happens between sessions, as your unconscious mind absorbs learnings. Your participation in these tasks is a necessary part of treatment.
Do you offer a guarantee?
No therapist can in reality offer a guarantee - if I they did I would question the ethics of this. My commitment to you is that I will work with you, to help you get to where you want to be with your problem and help you have a better life.
Cancellation Policy
I reserve the right to charge the full session fee if you cancel without giving me at least 24 hours' notice.
Are you insured?
Yes, I hold specialised therapy cover with professional liability and public liability both covered up to £5million each.
